Naipunyam
Though Kerala is well ahead in the field of education including achieving complete literacy when compared to other states in India, there are still people in the society who are deprived of higher education owing to economic backwardness. Keeping in view of this reality, Oasis Charitable Society launched its maiden project titled "Naipunyam", which is an educational scholarship scheme to identify academically excelling students belonging to economically disadvantaged families and provide them with financial, moral and emotional support.
The aim of "Naipunyam" is to nurture these students to become outstanding professionals, who, in turn, will contribute back to the benefit of the society. This is achieved by identifying such deserving students studying in 8th standard from Government and Government Aided schools in various parts of Kerala and providing them training /mentoring till 12th standard and then guiding them in selecting a better career according to their aptitude.
"Naipunyam" is being headed by the Project Coordinator (selected from the founder members) and is supported by the rest of the members.
Oasis Charitable Society seeks wholehearted contribution from all like-minded people to make this project a grand success.
